From September 11-14, 2026, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, became a global meeting point for the broadcast and professional imaging industries as IBC 2026 brought together professionals from across the world.

The UWA Alliance exhibition area at IBC 2026 presented the Vivid ecosystem across four dimensions — Content, Technology, Standards, and Ecosystem—showcasing developments ranging from core Vivid technologies and standards to content production, terminal display, and industry applications.

As a council member of the Ultra High Definition World Association (UWA Alliance), BOSMA joined the Alliance in bringing Chinese imaging innovation to the international stage. At the UWA Alliance’s prominent booth area, 3.C48, BOSMA presented its 2026 flagship product, VEGA H2, showcasing the latest exploration and innovation from China in ultra-high-definition imaging to the global professional imaging community.

Attention from China’s Government, Industry, Research and Academia

During IBC 2026, the BOSMA booth welcomed representatives from across China’s government, industry, research, and academic communities.

Among the visitors were the Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands, representatives from the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, academicians and experts from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, representatives from Shenzhen Pengcheng Laboratory, and representatives from Huawei.

Their visits provided opportunities to learn more about BOSMA’s technological exploration in ultra-high-definition imaging and its efforts to expand its presence in international markets.

International Industry Professionals and Distributors Explore Collaboration

BOSMA also welcomed professional visitors and channel partners from multiple international markets throughout the exhibition.

A renowned French documentary filmmaker, a well-known Belgian professional video equipment distributor, Visual Technology India from India, as well as distributors and industry professionals from other countries, visited the BOSMA booth to experience the products and discuss potential cooperation.

Among the features that attracted particular interest was VEGA H2’s “Full-Frame in Both Horizontal and Vertical” design, together with its hybrid autofocus system. Professional creators and channel partners from different countries engaged with the BOSMA team in discussions about the camera and explored opportunities for future collaboration.

VEGA H2: 6K Full-Frame Imaging with Greater Shooting Flexibility

At IBC 2026, BOSMA made the European debut of its new VEGA H2 6K full-frame camera, bringing its latest professional imaging technology to an international audience.

At the core of VEGA H2 is BOSMA’s HVS native horizontal and vertical switching technology, which enables the camera to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting workflows directly at the camera level. The camera also integrates ToF hybrid autofocus and an electronic stepless OVND filter, combining flexible framing with precise focusing and exposure control.

With support for 6K imaging, HVS horizontal/vertical switching, ToF hybrid autofocus, and electronic OVND control, VEGA H2 is designed to provide a flexible professional imaging solution for a range of production scenarios, including short-form film and drama production, documentaries, high-end live streaming, and mobile content creation.

IBC 2026 also brought attention from leading international professional media.

During the show, CineD, one of the most influential platforms in the professional filmmaking equipment review field, visited the BOSMA booth to film and feature VEGA H2. 

From a professional review perspective, the CineD team took a closer look at VEGA H2’s technical design and real-world performance.

CineD’s coverage brought further international attention to BOSMA’s latest imaging innovation. Its focus on VEGA H2 also reflects the growing interest of the international professional imaging community in new developments from China’s imaging industry.
